Goodreads Doesn't Have It, Data Migration: Midnight in Washington
This is where they expose Zelenskyy for firing Yovanovitch.
"In a July 25, 2019 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky (the contents of which became public on September 25, 2019), Trump pressured the Ukrainian government to investigate Biden and disparaged Yovanovitch to his foreign counterpart, calling her "bad news"."
He later goes on to betray not once with the threat to pull aid if they don't investigate Biden that Zelenskyy leaked, but then they were betrayed by Musk who them put them directly under Trump who they had fought to get off due to his Putin connections again. Betrayed twice by this guy. Clearly he was trying to isolate them from their support. Ukraine fell for it twice. Due to sheer misogyny. Look how badly they paid. She did the right thing uncovering just that kind of corruption. Misogyny that bad is part of corruption. They fell for it twice. Twice they thought it wouldn't happen to them because they were men. Twice it did anyway. These ongoing failures to learn are everywhere. Everywhere in history there are clear warnings of this. And yet again and again failure to learn again and again. Oh they won't do it to Ukraine. Putin won't invade Ukraine. Putin invaded Ukraine. Oh, Musk isn't working with Trump and isn't trying to betray Ukraine. Musk is working with Trump. Terence Tao is working with Trump through Musk. They don't think or research for themselves. They just think "dog ladder, ok, bark up it." "First they First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.” Everywhere there are these exact warnings. And they fell for it. Again and again and again. It is a serious failure to learn problem.
Adam Schiff is unbearably vain "bastions of democracy" crying while being unwilling to go as hardcore as it will take to remove the absolute cancers that are Musk and Trump. It's not going to go out easily. It's not just going to magically disappear because you stuck your head in the sand. You can't have your vanity and Trump and Musk out. There is a lot of unbearable "institutions of democracy" crying in this book that is as feeble as he often decries. But otherwise I agree that the people who want to retain power while virtue signalling that they were anti-Trump originally are the dogs that are the fundamental problem. They are deeply corrupt and spineless, that is the problem. I agree with him on that. But stop being vain and attacking your internal support that goes as hard as necessary. This is not the time for vanity contests. But extreme weakness and vanity is not going to do anything either. Mostly just appreciate backing up Marie Yovanovitch. He pulls this "Everywhere she goes" line on tons of women. He doesn't have the basic prefrontal cortex to be president, he's clearly intellectually disabled and a psychopath. He pulls that line on everyone who doesn't immediately give him what he wants. I really appreciate their work on Marie Yovanovitch. But otherwise way too vain and weak to win, and then just tries to abuse people internal to the country to seem strong instead of actually attacking who he knows he should attack directly. That's never going to win. It's too weak, vain and cowardly and clearly an abuser to distract from where they're too weak to face it directly. Repeat hiding behind the "bastions and institutions of democracy" line to distract from strategizing in a more hardcore way around Trump. Impeachment hasn't worked. You're going to have to do the lockout clause of the constitution. Your vanity will not be intact. It's not going to have a precedent for further presidents unless you let it. You are beating an aggressive cancer that is Musk and Trump. It is an exceptional time, you did what was required for the aggressiveness of these two. It’s not going to set a precedent unless you let it. If you don't have what it takes to not let it set a precedent. you don't have what it takes. I hate crap like that. Don't even try to enter politics if you're going to be like that. Otherwise a good book.
If someone is a misogynist, if they won't stop harassing, if they feel more like Ciudad Juarez than a developed country, they are corrupt. If you didn't realize that.
