China will literally befriend the children of people in the government, schmooze however necessary, and then write them in their books as "part of their network" without knowledge or consent if it becomes clear that their schmoozing is particularly effective with that person. There is no low they're not willing to stoop to to schmooze these people and their families. They literally used Covid-19 contact tracing to be able to do that. There is no low the Chinese won't stoop to, including setting up police stations in countries without knowledge or consent like they're just entitled to that. Seriously, who does that other than someone extremely narcissistic and entitled?
It was so bad there was a police station in Dublin that people just didn't notice was there, I guess people's ability to detect their surroundings was so bad that they had it blatantly labelled as a Chinese Police Station in public, and only after someone was like...why the good god is this there did it become clear that they had just hidden it in plain sight and it didn't stand up to even basic scrutiny. It's the same thing with a lot of the scientific papers coming out of companies entrenched with the CCP where it's just the CCP citing the CCP basically, and then internally it's just saying whatever it wants. People just don't call them on it even though it seems strange. The Dublin police station was there for awhile before people started having inquiries about it.
